In the opening concert of Up Close and Musical 2023, mezzo-soprano Lucy Schaufer and returning favourites Trio Klein perform an eclectic and boundary-defying programme inspired by the power and majesty of storms, spanning genres from contemporary classical to music theatre and drawing heavily from poetry and art works by women. This intimate concert features a candid interview with the artists about their musical lives, led by Artistic Director Shiry Rashkovsky, and you are invited to get to know the artists over drinks at the bar after the performance.
