Best of October House Records - Wednesday 18th October

£15.00

Best of October House Records

Héloïse Werner + Shri Sriram + Max Baillie

18th October

8:15pm

Fidelio Café, Clerkenwell EC1R 5BX

One hour concert with drinks available for purchase before and after at the bar (not included in ticket price)

Doors open 7:45pm, event starts at 8:15pm

In this collaboration with October House Records, Héloïse Werner returns with the fabulous Max Baillie and Shri Sriram to perform a dynamic programme of intricate guided-improvisations together with especially-adapted text pieces by O.H.R. artists and a series of virtuosic solo works. The improvisations will each be based on a piece by one of the trio who will then in turn lead the others in a spontaneous new realisation of the work. Three text pieces by composers Jasmin Kent Rodgman, Love Ssega and Jonathan Cole will also be brought to life by this unique ensemble featuring the sounds of voice, cello, violin, viola, bass guitar and Indian flute. Solo works from Héloïse's album 'Phrases', Shri's album 'The Letter' and some of Max's most recent new music, including a world premiere of 'Saxony Blues', will be dotted throughout this vibrant programme.

Programme to include works by:

Love Ssega

Jasmin Kent Rodgman

Jonathan Cole

Max Baillie
